Indosol Solar Pvt. Ltd. was established in 2022 with an objective of emerging as an eminent player in India’s solar manufacturing sector. The company is developing a state-of-the-art, 100% vertically integrated Giga-scale Solar PV manufacturing facility, encompassing the entire value chain from quartz to photovoltaic (PV) modules.

Indosol has distinguished itself as a recipient of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, designed to enhance the domestic production capabilities of integrated solar module manufacturing in India. This accolade underscores Indosol’s commitment to bolstering India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem and aligning with the nation’s energy sustainability goals.

The inception of Indosol marks a strategic expansion of Shirdi Sai Electricals Limited (SSEL), one of India’s largest transformer manufacturing companies in the energy sector. SSEL’s core competencies include the manufacturing of power and distribution transformers, as well as providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services. Additionally, SSEL is involved in projects such as electrification, substation construction, and system strengthening works. This strategic alignment leverages SSEL’s extensive industry experience and robust infrastructure to drive growth in solar technology and enhance the company’s renewable energy portfolio.

N. Visweswara Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of Shirdi Sai Electrical Limited, has over three decades of experience in the transformer industry. He began his entrepreneurial journey as a Managing Partner of M/s Shirdi Sai Electricals in 1994. As one of the early entrepreneurs in the EPC sector, he focused on rural electrification, substation works, and other transmission and distribution projects across the country. In recognition of his contributions to energy efficiency, Mr. Visweswara Reddy received the National Energy Conservation Award from the Ministry of Power in 2014 for producing a greater number of energy-efficient transformers. Additionally, he was honored with the National Energy Conservation Award in 2022 in the Distribution Transformer category by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.

Since commencing his career in 1989, he has held several senior leadership roles driving operational excellence and spearheading international business expansion initiatives. He is responsible for shaping the company’s strategic vision, optimizing operational performance, and fostering sustainable market growth. His extensive experience and leadership continue to propel innovation and success within the electrical manufacturing sector.

Manoj Kumar Reddy, Whole-Time Director of Indosol Solar Pvt. Ltd., is a distinguished renewable energy professional with extensive expertise in integrated solar photovoltaic manufacturing. As Project Head for Ingot, Wafer, Cell, Module, and Solar Glass, he is leading the establishment of the company's vertically integrated manufacturing facilities, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from technology selection and engineering to commissioning and operations. Prior to joining Indosol Solar, he handled global transformer export operations at Shirdi Sai Electrical Limited (SSEL), contributing significantly to international business growth and operational excellence.
